Welcome to Guitar Foundations, the website of the guitarist Patrick Romero.

Via Guitar Foundations Patrick's purpose is to teach the valuable fundamentals in playing the guitar. Whether it be Jazz, Classical, Flamenco, Western Music or Bossa Nova, the intent is to provide the student with the essentials that many beginners fail to acquire firmly when approaching a particular style of music that they desire to play. Knowing the basics firmly makes what seems intricate to be straightforward and at that point students start to play with ease what they deemed as 'difficult' pieces of music.

Based in London, Patrick gives lessons to students of all ages, teaching them the foundations of guitar playing and music theory, from which they attain a high level of proficiency and an ability to approach any style of music on the guitar with confidence.

Utilizing his very own systematic enjoyable method, Patrick himself has been able to approach many styles of music, including Jazz, Bossa Nova, Classical and popular songs. His forte is Flamenco and has had lessons with the well respected flamenco guitarist Francisco Antonio and with Juan Ramirez of Viva Flamenco.
