BIOGRAPHY

Patrick Romero, born in London England, was influenced at an early age by the guitar. Inspired by guitarists such as Eric Clapton, John Williams, John McLaughlin and many more, this inspiration led him to the Spanish Guitar Centre where he studied the theory of music and Classical guitar. There, he took away with him a solid foundation of music which he has always been appreciative of.

Soon after, Patrick took a personal interest in the world of Flamenco. Inspired by its deep history and artists like Tomatito, Camaron, Manolo Sanlucar and Paco de Luca, he endeavoured to follow earnestly this sacred art form with passion. Patrick considers himself fortunate to study under the best London based Flamenco guitarists, including Francisco Antonio and Juan Ramirez. Through Flamenco and a brief spell in Spain, he discovered what it truly means to express oneself sincerely through music. Patrick also plays many Jazz standards, pop songs on his acoustic guitar and the beautiful Bossa Nova.

"I consider the guitar objectively the most beautiful instrument that the man has created. This was my destiny."
Andres Segovia
